About Payne Farm Too:
Following
her successful career showing on the East Coast and having
graduated with her Masters degree in Social Work from
Columbia, Alana Payne followed her dream of
operating a major equestrian facility, returning to beautiful New Paltz,
NY.
Payne Farm Too is open year
'round with a beautiful indoor riding arena, competition
sized jumping ring, round pen and more than a 100 acres of
pristine countryside for trail riding and cross country
work. Instructors work together to meet the needs of the
farm's clients, whether that be recreation riding or those
with a view towards competition. Horses and ponies are
presented for sale (or lease) by the dedicated staff,
which provides expert assistance during the 'purchase'
(or lease) process.
Based on honesty, integrity
and ethics, Payne Farm Too has skyrocketed to success
believing
that the clients, riders and owners should enjoy their
experiences with horses.
Payne Farm Too has been
featured in various publications and popular equine web
sites.
The instructors' combined accomplishments, education and
experience will ensure that your riding experience exceeds
your expectations! Professional instruction/training is offered to
children, returning riders, recreational/pleasure riders and
those with a view towards competition.
The
farm maintains memberships and affiliations with several
outstanding equestrian and breed organizations including the
U.S.E.F,
P.H.A,
S.D.H.A,
N.Y.S.T.Q.H.A and the
Rombout Hunt Club. We welcome clients to join us to
experience the 'thrill of the hunt' or 'smoking the
competition' at the next horse show.
Payne Farm
Too is committed to creating an environment that is
enjoyable for everyone at all levels. Whether you're
shopping for a horse/pony, training or participating at
horse shows, the primary objective is to enjoy what you're
doing.
The farm is located in
beautiful New Paltz, NY. It has maintained its 'small town' feel despite being home to a
major state college - SUNY New Paltz. The best way to describe New
Paltz is a hip college town with a historic past. Originally, the French
Huguenots settled in this area in 1677 on what is known
today as Huguenot Street. The original churches, schools,
blacksmiths and stone front houses dot the area and are
maintained in a museum-like community. Payne Farm Too is
just a short drive to the
HITS show grounds for World Class equestrian
competition.
Shop
for antiques, tour wineries, pick your own fruit, tour the
art galleries and saddle up at Payne Farm Too.
The farm offers a lovely selection of recreational and show
quality horses/ponies for sale, trail rides around beautiful
countryside and a safe, friendly environment for riding
lessons and pony rides.
