More Than a Quarter of a Century of Excellence

The Best Riding Instruction is Available for All Levels of Riders!

We believe in a philosophy which emphasizes a patient and positive learning environment for all students. The staff provides the professional expertise required to make your ride go smoothly as you learn without the loss of security. Lessons are conducted in a safe and positive environment, allowing the riders to gain knowledge and build confidence. Riding instruction is provided for recreational riders and those with a view to compete. People are amazed at their own accomplishments on horseback with the proper coaching from our experienced instructors.

You don't even need to own a horse/pony! Students are provided with a safe, quality horse or pony suitable for their lesson and goals. Our experienced staff is happy to help each person enjoy the fulfillment of achieving their individual goals with horses. Our program is comprehensive and cultivates the clients love of horses. Students have the opportunity to learn everything important in horse ownership, including safe and humane handling, grooming, tacking, riding, equipment care.

Ride All Year Long! Multiple outdoor rings and our NEW indoor arena allow for regularly scheduled days/times for your riding lessons. Once riders have mastered the basic fundamentals, trail riding / cross country riding lessons are available on our 100 acre private trail system, surrounded by breath-taking views of the Shawangunk & Catskill Mountains.

Our professional instructors are all accomplished equestrians who have repeatedly produced successful horses/ponies and winning riders across the country. The teaching staff is dedicated to providing the best instruction for all levels of riders. (watch for our Staff page and Rider's Profile pages ~ coming soon)

We offer a wide range of riding opportunities and offer discount package rates to clients who prefer to make one monthly payment. Riders 6 years of age and under are welcome in our 'Tiny Riders' program. We accept a limited number of 'working students' each year. (see the Working Students page for details). Leases and shareboarding opportunities of show quality horses and ponies are available to our students. (see the Boarding page for details)

Maximizing Your Experience ~ We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your lesson. This will allow you time to check in and complete our release form. Arriving late will deprive you of valuable riding time, as we regret that we cannot infringe on our next client’s time. Sandals and/or high heels are not allowed in the stable area or for riding. Looking for a few more suggestions? Visit our Lesson Information section.

We happily provide clients who stable off the farm's property instruction and training. They are welcome to trailer their horses into the farm. All horses/ponies are required to produce a current coggins & rabies certificate in accordance with regulations and guidelines, prior to unloading. We encourage clients who stable off-site to meet us and utilize our professional coaching services at horse shows, hunter paces, fox hunts and other equestrian events. If your horse is not yet ready to compete, please speak with your trainer about the possibility of leasing one of our fabulous horses for the day.

We make frequent attendance at horse shows, fox hunts, hunter paces and other various equestrian related activities. Riders are welcome to enjoy the 'thrill of the hunt' or 'smoke the competition'- ask your instructor about attending the next event!
